Lessons on doubling

In the live-music industry, knowing more than one instrument makes you invaluable!

What makes Murphy Woodwinds unique, is that we know exactly how to teach students the tricky art of mastering more than just your primary instrument. Through our own studies and careers, we've lived, first-hand, the successes of doubling.  

Lessons in doubling will focus on learning the woodwind family (single reeds and flute first, then double reeds if necessary) in a safe and methodical approach.  We will take great care in ensuring the safety of learning more than one instrument, as learning multiples can cause mouth and hand fatigue. We provide an approach that will make learning another instrument quick and fun!
